Our goal is to provide these vulnerable youth with more than just a haircut; we aim to provide them with a sense of dignity, self-worth, and belonging. Through our salon services, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where children can escape the hardships of their daily lives, even if just for a moment, and experience the joy of being pampered and cared for. By offering free hairstyling and beauty-related services, we ensure that financial barriers do not prevent any child from accessing the support and care they deserve. THE PROBLEM
Many children in the foster care system face immense challenges, including abuse, neglect, and a lack of proper parental care. These experiences can have long-lasting effects on their self-esteem and overall well-being. While there are organizations that offer support to these children, the demand often exceeds the available resources, leaving many without the assistance they need.
OUR SOLUTION
CP is more than just a hair salon; it's a safe haven where children can escape the hardships of their daily lives and feel positive about themselves. Our salon offers a glamorous and engaging environment designed to foster positive interactions and boost self-esteem. We provide free hairstyling and grooming services to ensure that every child, regardless of their financial situation, has access to our services.
CP believes that these services should not be optional so we will provide transportation free of charge ensuring every child has the opportunity to enjoy the experience.
There will also be an area in the salon for donated clothing. Upon leaving, children will have an opportunity to browse and select clothing to take with them and will also be provided with a Haircare Bag that includes items such as, a brush a comb and hair maintenance products.
